For custom tattoo designs the client comes in with an idea and possibly some reference material for the artist. From this the artist designs a tattoo for this client. Many people choose to do custom if they don’t wish to have the same tattoo as everyone else.

Copying these tattoos is in very bad taste because these people went out of their way to get an original design.
